The holiday villas of Buitenplaats Horsterwold are located 6 km from Zeewolde in the Flevopolder, at the Hosterwold, on the level of Hardewijk. It has the atmosphere of a holiday village because of the combination of water, beach, forests and extensive polders. The Horsterwold and the Hulkestein forests are the largests continuous deciduous forest of Europe. A lovely area for hiking, biking, horse-riding and skate trips. With its marinas and jetties is Zeewolde a very popular place for water athletes. Surf and beach fanciers can choose from 5 child friendly beaches. Nearby the villas in the Horsterwold is a 18-holes golf course. In the village is an indoor swimming pool and a large sports park. The restaurants in the center offer delicious dishes. Nice trips can be made from the villas to historical towns like Hardewijk and Elburg, or the Dolphinarium, Walibiworld, Bataviastad or even to Amsterdam. Guests occupy a villa with a large garden, usually adjacent to one of the ponds or canals. Some of the houses have 3 bedrooms on the ground floor and 3 bedrooms on the first floor. On the park with the villas Horsterwold guests can freely use the outdoor swimming pool and two all-weather tennis courts.
