Royal House in Kenya : After your arrival into Kenya it only takes 25 minutes from the airport to the villa. The villa is elevated over the most beautiful shores of the Mtwapa Creek within 6000 sqm of land engulfed by palms, bougainvillas and other tropical plants. At the entrance of Royal House is a small wood workshop and organic farm. The exclusive private natural stone pool of 16m x 12m x 2.8m size is placed between the villa and the creek. For nature lovers there are several guided walking tours around the Mtwapa Creek. You can see several different species of birds and plants and also wild african oysters. Fresh fish and seafood are brought in by local fishermen. Depending on the season you can buy lobsters, prawns, crabs, the most famous red snapper and many other assorted fish direct from the Mtwapa creek fisherman and the chef will prepare your choice for lunch and dinner. You can indulge in your meal either in our 110 sqm wide and 6m high Matiti style salon -which include a handcarved mahogany bar and sitting lounge - or the veranda overlooking the pool or on the edge of the creek under tangarine trees - perfect location for a stylish tea time - looking down at the private mangrove enclosed beach. Royal House provides a complete private atmosphere, available for you are 4 doublebed rooms furnished with african carved hardwood made with exceptional attention to detail and design. The rooms are simple yet sophisticated oozing african culture and luxury. Each room is designed in a different african theme and the furnishings are carved to match the theme. The bathrooms have shower, bath tab and victorian style fittings. All beds have custom made mosquito nets in order to fit their size and shape. Ceiling fan in 3 bed rooms, fans in 1 bedroom, mini bar fridge in 2 bedrooms, additionally modern low sound air conditioning in 2 bedrooms. This very calm tropical paradise is not far from the pulse racing nightlife of the kenyan north coast. The most famous discotheque is only 5 mins away by car, the golf club is 10 mins away and a european standard supermarket only 5 mins away. For your first time in Kenya a wildlife safari is a must but, the Mtwapa Creek is the center and base for Deep sea fishing and Mountain Biking. For mountain bikers you will need to bring your own bike. Inclusiv are the complete staff including housekeeper, service and gardener, nightwatchman and an excellent chef.
