Das Village Mata Encantada befindet sich am Ortsrand von Santo André, einem Gemeindeteil von Santa Cruz Cabrália, ca. 30km nördlich von Porto Seguro im Süden des Bundesstaates Bahia.
"Mata Encantada" bedeutet "zauberhafter Wald". Unsere Anlage trägt diesen Namen nicht umsonst. Einbettet in ein ursprünglichen Stück Urwald mit direktem Zugang zum Strand wartet das geräumige und komfortable Haus auf unsere Gäste. Das 15.000m² grosse, umzäunte Gelände des Village Mata Encanta besteht zum grösste Teil aus ursprünglichem Regenwald mit uraltem Baumbestand. Das Haus verfügt zudem über einen ca. 800m² grossen, eigenen Garten mit grosszügigen Rasenflächen und blütenreichen Pflanzen.
Das Grundstück liegt im Naturschutgebiet "APA Santo Antônio" und grenzt unmittelbar an den schönen Strand von Santo André, der von der Zeitschrift "Veja" nicht umsonst zu einem der 13 schönsten und exotischsten von Brasilien eingestuft wird. In Strandnähe befindet sich die gemütliche, zum Verweilen einladende Cabana und das grosse Süsswasser-Schwimmbecken. Eine weitere Pergola am Strand bietet unseren Gästen Schatten. Hängematten, Liegestühle und Sitzgruppen stehen verteilt über das gesamte Gelände unseren Gästen zur Verfügung und laden zum Verweilen ein.
Das Wasser an der Praia das Tartarugas (Strand der Schildkröten) ist dank dem vorgelagerten Riff Recife de Itassimirim ruhig und damit bestens zum Baden, auch für Familien mit Kindern, geeignet. Der Strand gehört mit zu den schönsten und exotischsten Brasiliens, nicht zuletzt weil er noch ursprünglich, ja fast unberührt ist und von den grossen Tourismuströmen bislang unentdeckt blieb.
Dank rigorosem Umweltschutz konnte sich in dieser Gegend bis heute lediglich ein naturnaher und damit sanfter Tourismus entwickeln. Diesem Gedanken tragen auch wir im Village Mata Encantada Rechnung; so erfolgt beispielsweise die Warmwasseraufbereitung ausschliesslich mit Solarenergie und das Schwimmbad wir mit UV-Licht gepflegt, um den Einsatz von Chlor zu minimieren.
Das Haus verfügt über eine Wohnfläche von insgesamt 160m². In der oberen Etage finden sich zwei grosszügige, klimatisierte Suiten, jeweils eine mit Doppelbett sowie eine mit zwei Einzelbetten. Jede Suite hat Zugang zum eigenen Badezimmer. Zur Standardausstattung gehören selbstverständlich auch Deckenventilatoren.
Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich neben der komplett mit Kühlschrank, Kochherd, Backofen, Geschirr und allen anderen benötigten Utensilien ausgestatteten Küche ein Wohn- und Esszimmer sowie ein weiteres Badezimmer. Das Wohnzimmer ist so konzipiert, dass zwei weitere Personen hier komfortabel schlafen können.
Das Haus verfügt über einen Fernsehapparat mit über 40 internationalen Programmen.
Ene grosse Veranda mit Hängematten, Liegestühlen, Sitzecke und Esstisch runden die Einrichtung ab.
Wir stellen unseren Gästen die Bett- und Frottierwäsche gratis zur Verfügung. Ebenfalls inbegriffen ist die tägliche Hausreinigung. Auf Wunsch vermitteln wir unseren Gästen für die Dauer ihres Aufenthaltes gerne ein Hausmädchen, das sich darauf freut, Ihnen bahaianische oder internationale Gerichte servieren zu dürfen.

| Descripción de la población | Up to this day Santo André is a pleasant, quiet fisherman’s village with merely 700 inhabitants. The short journey with the ferry over the Rio João de Tiba from Santa Cruz Cabrália to Santo André brings you away from the influence of the turbulent Porto Seguro with all its strand bars into this cozy town. The significance of Santo André as holiday location for ecological tourism of superlative standing has risen in the past years. This fact reflects in a good and functioning infrastructure. Next to the supermarket there is a grocery store, boutiques, handicraft studios, more than a dozen restaurants and bars with a rich offer of regional and international cuisine. Various establishments offer accommodation from simple lodging up to five star hotels. Due to reports in various magazines Santo André has gone from secret tip to one of the most frequented holiday destinations in Bahia. Thanks to stringent environmental protection the charm of this tiny paradise could be saved. Santo André got is name from a legend. A frightful monk buried a golden statue of the holy St. Andreas so that it would not be stolen. It might be this gold that gives this fisherman’s village its special shine. |
