Marinella on the Mediterranean Sea is a 30 to 35 km drive away. The lake “Lago Bracciano” is just 5 km away and has an area of 57.5 km. “Lago Bracciano” is one of the cleanest lakes in Europe and in summertime you may taking a bath, go swimming or enjoying all kind of water sports. For kids there are a lot of special offers like playgrounds and courses for sailing. The Bassano and Trevignano national parks begin a few hundred metres from the estate and are just a relaxing walk, mountain bike or horse ride away. You can visit the famous Roman amphitheatre of Sutri just 7 kilometres away, in the heart of the historical Etruscan area, rich in Roman history and tradition. The famous papal thermal baths of Viterbo are 32 kilometres away. The thermal water here is said to have special healing properties. There are other thermal baths in the area. For horse lovers there is a famous riding school in Bassano Romano. Romantic bridle paths lead directly past the villa. The well-known golf club “The Oaks” (www.golflequerce.it) is near the estate. The golf green is over 60 hectares and one on the best 10 golf clubs in Italy and one of the top 30 in Europe. The nearest winter sports areas, which are also suitable for day trips, are in the Reatini Mountains and Gran Sasso D´Italia. |

| Descripción de la población | Bassano Romano is a little country town. There is a medieval palace which is right now under construction. At the center, directly at the way all to Bassano Romano there is a small supermarket “Sigma”, which offers all food and products for daily life (if you are first time in Italy: it is usual to take a number which is disposed when you are going to be served). Nearby you’ll find a butcher, up to the old city there is also a shop which sells fresh handmade pasta. More and more the city organizes cultural events at weekends in summer time – programs you’ll find at the city. In the same distance there is Sutri – a vivid town with a historical center to be seen. Especially good restaurants and bars you’ll find there, as well the famous Amphitheatre (left hand side before Sutri begins). July/August there is the Beethoven-Festival with concerts every Saturday evening at the church San Francesco. A trip to Viterbo – the former capital of the Popes- is always worth to undertake. There is to discover a beautiful historical center with dozens of possibilities to stroll or going shopping. If you plan to go to the thermal bathes, follow the signs “Terme”. The “Terme dei Papi” offers as well swimming pool and wellness packages, entry costs appr. 25 Euros/each. There are as well a semiofficial terme – one directly to reach at the Cassia into Viterbo, and a wild one near the military airport, at the entry to the “Terme dei Papi” to the right following the street until you’ll see a parking place and the thermal holes. The last one is free. If you want to go to Rome not entirely by car there are 2 possibilities: Go to the Cassia, park your car at the right hand side, left hand on the Cassia there is a bus stop with a bus every 30minutes to Rome city (when the bus is approaching, you have to give a sign by hand that he stops). Or you go direction Sutri until you see at the left a sign “Stazione Sutri/Capranica” – follow it, park the car at the train station and there is 2 times an hour a train directly to the Vatican Station. Lake „Bracciano“ Direction – the shortest one: At the end of the str. Pertuso turn to the left and then one km on a very bad street (after it’ll be a bit better). At the end of this street turn to the left and then, after appr. 100m, to the right, following this street until you’ll end at a crossing, turn to the right to Trevignano. As far as you are down to the lake turn to left to Trevignano. Trevignano is located directly at the lake, offers a beautiful promenade for walking and in direction to Bracciano some beaches. You may use private ones for entry where there are umbrellas and sun beds or public ones which are for free. For children there is a special park “Parco dei giocci” and you’ll find as well two sailing clubs and a windsurf-school where they offer windsurfing equipment for rent. Numerous restaurants and bars invite you to take a meal or some refreshments. If you’ll go to Bracciano you’ll find as well a beautiful historical city with many touristic and cultural activities and as well beaches at the lake. Walking/hiking: if you are interested to take a hike or a walk, the mountain you see directly in front of you from the terrace of the Villa “Cimeo” offers a lot of opportunities, downwards there is even a hidden lake, “Lago di Vico”. In Sutri you go to the right in direction Roncillione/Viterbo and you’ll see signs to show the way to the lake (“Lago”) and to hiking ways “Cimeo”. Or you go from the str. Pertuso not downwards to Bassano, but to the left, then to the right until the way ends in a forest. There as well you’ll find ways and picnic places. To the Mediterranean See: You follow the signs in direction Bracciano and then to Ladispoli and Fregene and reach the See in about 45-60minutes. Golf In Direction Rome/Monterosi there is the golf club “Le Querce” and after shortly before Rome begins another at Olgiata.
